Family, Gender and Society

The Journal of Family, Gender, and Society (FGS) is dedicated to integrating and advancing multidisciplinary and international research agendas that shape contemporary family science. The journal publishes original research addressing all dimensions of family and society.

FGS draws upon a diverse array of disciplines, including family studies, sociology, psychology, gender and cultural studies, communication, and related social science fields.

Serving as an international forum for addressing contemporary issues, cutting-edge empirical research, and theoretical advancements, the journal embraces diverse social science methodologies—including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods designs—to provide comprehensive analyses of marriage and family life.
